My father does not know who his father is and does not have his birth certificate. He was born on a Native American Reservation in 1963. He was adopted by my WHITE grandparents at the age of 9 years old in 1973. My father's mother died when he was one year old in 1964 of alcohol poisoning.

It is rumored that my father was given for adoption because the father was black and the Native American family rejected the baby outright. But my father's mother left property on the reservation for my father before she died. My grandmother claims she had lots of children before she died at age 28, but I can't find records of any children that she had.

I recently discovered records that show that my father had a cousin born on the reservation on the exact same day in the exact same year. The mother would have been my father's Aunt.

Should I conclude that my father was stolen off of the reservation by the adoption agency my white grandparents used? My gandparents have refused to talk to me since I started asking question this past week.

If you of adopt a baby child and a few years later you found out the child you adopt has a twin sibling, would you adopt the other twin and chew out the orphanage for them not telling you on the exact same day of you adopting a child that their are twins... or would you decide not adopt the other twin even though that twin is still at the orphanage.
