I am just wondering if the double standard of eating really applies to us as much as we think it does. Every girly magazine I have ever read tells us to order a salad on a date, and not finish it...so we aren't seen as being a pig. I think that is ridiculous. We are as hungry as you are! And most guys I talk to seem to agree...they would rather a girl get food than be hungry and end up picking off of their plate in the end, anyhow. So does a girl with a healthy appetite turn you off?

Yesterday I order a Big Mac. I was like, "Can I get a Big Mac with no onions, tomatoes, lettuce, mayo, pickles, or cheese?" The person at the register was like, "A plain hamburger would be much cheaper." And lol I was like, "No I want the extra (3rd slice) of bread. But make sure my burger has only ketchup and meat on it." Lol she was frustrated.

Also, in elementary, I used to grab a salad box. Yet i just ate the ham, cheese, and bacon bits. Yet, I don't like bacon that comes fried in strips, just the bits.

And when i go to subway, I will order a $5 foot long but only get ham and pepperjack cheese on it. No toppings..

If I go to Olive Garden, I will order Lasagna, but I will not eat it if it has that white cottage cheese looking stuff.

If I eat cereal for breakfast, I poor a bowl filled with just cereal. I don't drink milk. But I've eaten cereal with water before. Not bad :)

I'm picky about lots of foods, but Is it just me, or are other people picky like this too?

I eat lesser than my guy friends. I always order smaller portions i finish my plate tho but i think they'll think im just trying to look delicate or act like a girl on diet who only eats salad :P lol
is it a turn-off?
