i'm not planning on getting one , was just bored and searched google maps out of curiosity to see how many there was. way more than i knew about , was 16 in the city i searched , some i knew about as there located in high profile locations downtown but some of the rest must be smaller independent ones in smaller plazas and spots i wouldn't drive by so didn't know about them.

they must have customers for them all to be open , makes you wonder how many people are getting tattoo's in that city in an average week? you'd have to think the average tattoo shop would have to be doing at least 10-20 tattoo's in a week? i guess some sell other products like body jewellery and clothing , a lot also do piercings but many only did tattoo's.

but if you assume they each do 15 tattoo's a week ( some would do less and some more but just an average ) thats 240 different people getting inked , which works out to 1000 a month and close to 12000 a year? some of these places might do 30 a week right? so who knows my numbers might be on the low end
of course these places have a lot of repeat customers with multiple tattoos so its not always new people but still would appear to be a lot of people getting one

I'm wondering if you thinks it's right or wrong to break up with someone because of their appearance has changed with time and you're not attracted to them anymore. Examples on changes may be aging like wrinkle and gray hair, but also weight gain, deformity because of an accident or disease and a change in style (clothing/hair). Where do the limit go from being just a "human" to an "asshole"?

Some people may dress main stream and be attractive to someone because of that, but later on dye their hair, get tattoos and piercings making them look different. Others may cross dress, and some may go from slim to fat. Cortisone is a medicine used to cure diseases and makes you very fat. #Shallow? #Beauty
