Given how often I show my political side here and how I'm not shy to admit that I've never had a relationship or even been on a date, it may surprise some of you how close I am with my dog, Buddy. I got him after I finished mourning the death my dog of 12 years, Katie after having cancer for the third time last August. He's very destructive and hyper, and he doesn't get alone with Mia and Riley (my cats), but I love him very much. I haven't been working in a few months due to my car breaking so many times due to my last job, and a lung infection that took over 2 months to recover from and I'm still not there yet. So I've spent a ton of time with him, we run together, go to the park, he lies down with me, and I've been taking care of him for many months. He's very protective of me as he showed when a home nurse came and he didn't know what was happening, he barked at her and growled, jumped on the couch with me, knocked the syringes out of her hands and tried to remove my PICC line☺️. That's him doing his way of thanking me for taking care of him in the picture. Do you have any pets?

I want to send this message to a girl, and we've gone out several times over the past few months, and I think we are at a breaking point.
I want to be open and not tell her how I feel, but she is young and probably will skip over what I say.
