We have been texting on and off for a month. She wanted to video call and phone call so we did. (phone call was 2 hours). Then we had a first date which went well. I wasn't sure before the date but after the date, I am sure I like her now.

She goes to school 4 hours away from me but she has her family near where I live and she also has work so she comes back every weekend.

The date went well. She looked gorgeous with makeup and outfit. She laughed at my jokes and we had some eye contact moments which ended with laughs. Talked for 2 hours over some light food and drinks. During the date, she mentioned that next weekend, she has a school event so she can't meet me. We hugged and said good bye.

After the date, we texted a little and when I asked about the next date, she said "we won't see each other this month because I don't have time on the weekends." (the text felt colder than usual) I texted back "I understand, let me know if plans change"

So I am not entirely sure if she likes me or she is nicely rejecting me. I was thinking to text her this weekend to ask her how the event went. Should I do this or wait till she gets back at me?

So I met this girl on a dating app. (CmB)
There is one week of chatting allowed in the app and if we don't exchange numbers by then, the app assumes it's not good. I messaged her the day we got matched and she only responded a day before our week expired with a number.

We've texted for 3 days (spotty) and then she stopped texting me for like 2 weeks.

Then she got back to me saying sorry for not texting back i was sick etc etc, then we texted for 2 days and then she stopped for a week.

I didn't really care for her and the conversation was dry but I texted her with straightforward and direct questions and she liked it. Eventually got to a first date.

The date went well from my perspective, she was looking gorgeous (makeup and outfit) and I really like her. Her smile shook me. She laughed at my jokes and we talked for 2 hours over some light food.

We hugged and said bye, then we texted a little bit. When I asked about the next date, she said "We don't be seeing each other this month, I don't have time on weekends."

To be fair, she studies at a university 3 hours away from me but she has a family that lives near me and she has work at some organization so she comes back to her family every weekend. From what I know, she is a spotty texter and she is much more talkative and engaging in person. I also know she is busy.

I'm shook by her smiles y'all. Can't wait to see her again but a month sounds too long. Is this her way of nicely rejecting or is she just busy? Any opinion is appreciated and ask me for details if needed. Thanks!
