Junior year I was in 3 video projects with him. That year I was the only one he go up to in class for help/getting answers from. Not to anyone else. This lasted FOR THE WHOLE YEAR. I texted him at that time but his replies were short and he would text back an hr or more later. He never texts first. His friend who we had the same class with would tell me the shy guy is ripped. The shy guy would do is put his head down and smile. Once his friend whispered to him "Tell her you play hockey." The shy guy doesn't talk to me. I tried to but he sounds bored or doesn't know what to say. With other girls he sounds much differently.

Senior year his friends would mention me jokingly to him when I'm around. The shy guy would just say, I don't like her, she's weird, no, or shut up. One time his friend and him saw me in the halls. The friend nudge the shy guy, pointed at me and gave me a wtf expression. The shy guy just looked at me then looked away. He had a blank expression. 2 months ago a person that he doesn't even know mentioned me and he said "Why do so many people think that I like her? All we did was a project together. She's overreacting."

3 weeks ago I told him that I like him and he looked at his phone then back at me. He had a half smile and said "sure alright, bye" and left.

He texted me on the same day, "Hey sorry about walking off earlier, I'm pretty shy." I asked "why are you shy?" I also texted "Tbh I thought that you wanted to ignore me lol". He didn't text back. Days later I sent him a long text of the real reason why I wanted to tell him which was that "I had a feeling your friends knew. I'm sorry that I like you and that I asked why you're shy". I told him that I thought he was embarrassed and it was my fault. He STILL didn't text back.

4 days ago his friends were near me. One of them tapped my shoulder. I looked to the side and the shy guy was looking down while smiling.

We are also graduates now.

So I've known this guy for 5months, I initially had no interest in him but he was always seeking my attention. Calling my name during lessons asking what I'm doing during the weekend. It even got as far as sending me numerous texts on social media pretending he didn't know we got homework in order to start a conversation. We talked deeply about our lives I've told him stuff I've never told anybody. But the thing is I've been told he has a girlfriend. He's never told me but 'allegedly' his 'chick' has told a mutual friend of mine. He's also apparently dated another mutual friend of mine. One which my friend has refused to tell me until now.. So I don't know if it's true. My friends have caught him with his 'chick' multiple times in college 'allegedly' flirting and I've seen them together once. Also other people are claiming they're together but he's never told me from his own mouth. It seems like everyone's assuming
And he's being completely indirect. She refers to him as "babe,my guy" on social media but yet I'm hearing that he doesn't like her and that she wants him more than he wants her. I feel so confused and dirty if he is with her. Because most of time he always starts the conversation me and acts shy, he also according to other people looks and watches me in a 'certain' way that makes it obvious he likes me. I feel like I'm getting played, and I try to avoid him I also feel hurt because I feel like I've made it so obvious that I like him by even calling him!! And I feel like he's taking advantage of that. Please help me, am I getting played? . I can't stop thinking about him, I've only liked 5 guys in my entire 18years of living and when I do fall I fall hard. Please help me I need closure😣😞

If a guy is a player and not shy, he asks girls out all the time is it possible he's not asking the one he really likes out because he's afraid of getting hurt?
I'm afraid I might be in this situation, since for some reason he thinks I'm the player here, and likely to cheat (not true), but I know he's into me, people say they're gonna lock us together in one room to sort things out, so could that be it?
