So, I have a guy friend who pretty shy. He only has about 3 friends (me included) and I'm his only friend that he has in any of his classes. So I began developing a crush on him, but what ended up happening was he asked me for advice on another girl. I asked him if he liked her, and he said yes. I was heartbroken, but still decided to give him advice. So school came the next day, and I was kind-of angry with him and ended up ignoring him. He didn't notice, but after 2 more days he began to notice and began to ignore me back. So it went like this for 2 more weeks, us ignoring each other back, and him just sitting alone for the whole hour without anyone to talk to. So I gained the courage today to talk to him, I went up behind him and poked him in the back and he looked like he was surprised that I was talking to him. I asked him how he was doing and he said good but with a stutter. So I decided to say "You don't sound so sure," and I guess that was a bad thing to say because he was about to smile and he put on a straight head and said "I'm good." So I walked ahead of him and I looked back and he looked like a was a mixture of anger and sadness, and he was looking at me when he was like that.

Was it wrong to ignore him?
What's going on in his mind?
