My question is... I am a hopeless romantic. Ladies, is that bad in a guy? I am not like all soft and feminine about things, I just love to be in love and show it as well in relationships. I love making my partner happy by...

How important is chivalry?

I'm not talking about simply treating a girl with respect. I'm more talking about the rules that require men to always hold doors open for them, give up their seat for them, never use foul language around them, always...

Chivalry is no longer dying - it's dead!

This week I was on a train I take into the city several times a week. This train ride is about 40 minutes long and everyone on the train is meant to have a seat for the most part...it's not like the subway/tube. Well...

Have women embraced the modern man or do they like chivalry still in a man?

Realize this must be a dream or a nightmare... I would never treat my woman like that, because I'm always a gentlemen.
Apologize and tell her I haven't treated her fairly, but I do like her. I will do my best in the future to treat her right.
Explain to her that I just wasn't ready to commit to her financially yet, I like her, but value my money a lot.
Confess to her that I'm just really not feeling the connection all that much and maybe we should just end things.
Accuse her of being a whore, then explain to her that her desire for me to spend money on her is akin to prostitution.

What do you think of commercial "dating gurus" and their media for men, e.g. "The Game"?

Several months ago, I was feeling very desperate as I've been chronically single for my whole life, not even a first date ever, so I splurged and bought David DeAngelo's e-book "Double Your Dating." I also receive his CDs...
