Guys: You'll have to swap men for women, etc.. I'm curious to what the ladies think:

- Think back to when a guy gives you compliments or flirts with you. The attention is probably really nice but does it ever trigger that "alarm" in your brain saying how he's probably done this with a thousand other women? So naturally you may enjoy hearing the compliments, flirtatious banter, or even a nice comment on the effort you've put into yourself; but I tend to argue the point that it rarely (if ever) creates attraction to be with that person.

Think about it ->

- If a guy feeds you a compliment and your "alarm" is going off (about him doing this with multiple other women), then naturally you're going to think he's not being sincere. So at this point you continuously make him prove his efforts (this is what most guys call bitch shield/games/etc).. And if he doesn't show you the same effort all the way through, you know he wasn't sincere and it's a huge turn off. Why? Because you had your hopes up (yet again) that this guy might be the one.

Think about it even more ->

- So when a guy is not "saying" he's interested (think back to the last time you were sincerely interested in a guy) and instead he's just SHOWING and demonstrating his interest -> You take it as a more sincere sign of interest.

It's the concept of instead of saying he would like to kiss you; he's making it the interaction feel like he wants to kiss you (without saying it) by being warm and welcome to the interaction, but at the same time he's making you validate yourself first.

I call this "game/bitchshield/etc" last minute resistance -> You want him to prove he's not like all the other douchebags.. Rightfully so. But what if you could feel out the interaction to know he's different -> To know he's interested and not going to play with your heart -> "for better or for worse".

If you agree with this concept: That when he doesn't say something (and instead shows it) that it's more sincere; please feed me examples or explain more in depth on this topic. I'm curious :)
