I'm referring to matters in which the mother neither wants the child nor wants to go through with the pregnancy.

In my opinion the Pro-life position shouldn't be held without consideration of the support that the mother and child may need, both to get through the pregnancy while studying or working and to get through motherhood while the child is not in a position to be adopted.

Sometimes women don't feel they have support or the desire to have kids, support of the kind suggested won't necessarily reduce to zero the number of women who feel this way.

Do both pro-life and pro-choice sides agree that provision of extensive support, in states that heavily prohibit abortion, can help motherhood be a less frightening prospect for unplanned mothers?

In Norway the age of consent for sex is 16, while beer, driving lincense, voting etc. are 18. Wine is 20. You can be sent to prison if you breaks the law and are 15 years old.

In some countries the age of consent is 16 like in Norway, while other countries have numbers like 17, 18, 14 and 12. Some even can't consent to sex if they're not married.

My opinion:
I think the age of consent by law should be 18, although people should be recommended to wait with sex until they're 20 in the sex education. It's because of maturity differences. Sex have consequences like STDs, unwanted pregnancies, abortions, regrets and mental traumas. A child may be traumatized by bad sex, while an adult may just be disappointed on average - if the sex is consensual.

My boyfriend never had a good relationship with his parents and basically wants nothing to do with them. It was his birthday yesterday and he turned 17. His mom kept calling me a girl, she/her & my deadname/given name. I found that disrespectful. But I acted nice since it was my boyfriend's birthday. When he went to go to the washroom, she told me "I would like to call you by your given name, it's so beautiful & since you're pregnant, of course your a female" yet I have a transgender friend I know who works with her at a restaurant and she calls him; his preference name. Another thing is let's say someone name was Ken but they rather be called Kennedy (since I don't want to give out his name). His mom kept saying "Ken" when he would prefer "Kennedy" and she object to the idea of calling him that. Which he would fight with her all the way to the place in the car. His dad doesn't like it either but he at least calls me Damien. I may be pregnant but I don't ever consider myself a mother to it since that a female term for a women. I consider myself a caregiver instead or a parent or a father. My boyfriend will say you are " a motherly father ". But since I haven't had surgery (from not being old enough to afford it) and my parents are against abortion. I'm being mature, keeping the baby and holding off on my transition. Putting the baby needs over mine is what I say. But I don't see how that makes me a girl when I've seen trans man have babies since they want their own and still consider themselves a male. Everyone has their own opinion, and I never planned on having a child, maybe adoption when I was older. But even being pregnant I consider myself a male, just my body isn't until further notice. I wear binders still until it going to make my chest sore. Then I'll have to start wearing sports bras, not actually bras. But I'm going to wear male clothes throughout this time. His mom just doesn't help with her opinions, which I find mean since she's full-on Christian.
