The Government can take your home anytime they want. They just declare the people need it and your land , give you pennies on the dollar.

The Government now says people can live in your home and not pay rent , but you must still pay the bank what you owe on the house. That is socialism by the way.

I have always said:
1) You don't really own your home
2) A home is not an investment but a liability
3) You should not be made to pay property taxes if you don't owe the bank anything on it.

Do you continue to pay for a candy bar you purchased 10 years ago?
Do you pay taxes on furniture you paid for five years ago?
Why is a house different? You bought it. It was a purchase.

How will the people that buy homes to rent for their income going to be able to pay the banks? They will be forced to put them up for sale. I guess no one has the right to own property anymore. If they can do that , they can seize everyone's guns. They can seize your bank accounts , I mean the Government can always use more money. They can seize your cars declaring they harm the environment. Where will this stop?

Will forcing these people to sell their homes cause a collapse in the housing market? There will be many thousands of home flooding the housing market.

I think we can solve excess homelessness and poverty very easily give any able bodied citizen regardless of past history holding them back from work in the private sector (no experience, criminal record etc) a job doing something productive for the public good paid for by tax dollars of course but there is ALWAYS something that can be done, landscaping, wash govt vehicles, light duty construction for public facilities even litter pickup etc. I think leaving employment up entirely to the private sector is why we have so much homelessness and poverty in capitalist countries. A guaranteed job for those willing to work seems like a good idea.

Equal education being everyone gets the same education K-12 grade. Everyone has access to a great quality education.
This would require pouring billions of dollars into education for Hispanic and black communities. We can pay via taxes and I would support the idea.
EVERYONE DESERVES A GREAT EDUCATION REGARDLESS OF YOUR PARENTS INCOME.

Pros- some of the nicer houses cost around $10,000-$30,000 us dollars,
no property tax on your house, overall you pay a lot less taxes, cheap good food around your house and most stores are always near by and cheap water bill and no curfew even for kids.
cons- hot weather most of the season, you pay electric bill and you still don't get 24 hour electricity, good chance of sandstorms, scorpions, cockroaches, and big beetles are native to Iraq. No car insurance, house insurance or insurance of any kind.
The city is literally like a stadium.

I've often said no matter what the corporate tax rate, they will always pay zero in taxes. This is because whatever rate the government puts on them, they just raise their costs to pass along to customers.

This is why businesses never pay tariff's or taxes. They merely become the tax man for Uncle Sam.

We the people ultimately end up paying those extra taxes by additional costs passed on by business. While at the same time making it harder for businesses to compete against free trade from other countries with lower tax rates and lower wage laws.
