Im 26 and work in the service industry. I dont consider myself super attractive and lack confidence. Ill have my “cute” days and that is about it. However, I am told by friends, coworkers, and family that I rank higher on the hot scale then I feel... so why is it that only either unattractive or much older (and usually crude) men approach and hit on me? I can honestly say only one guy that was pretty attractive made any moves... he was also 8 shots deep and would probably fuck tree if it blew in his direction. But it raises the question! Am I just really unappealing? Do I scare people away? Do I have angry eyebrows/resting bitch face? Im very easy to talk to... Im just not a conversation instigator. I have high anxiety but I can usually hide it. I fail to make eye contact and will do things like play with my hair/phone/jewelry when Im nervous. Would it be my body language? And if so... why do such scummy men feel confident enough to cross the line? Do I come off as desperate or vunerable? Or am I just so accustomed to the bluntness that I fail to notice? Its not for an ego boost or reassurance. I am genuinely curious on the thought process.

I met a guy on Tinder (we are both over 30) and we`ve been dating for 2 months now. We were both quite clear we are not into hookups but more long-lasting relationship. We`ve had exclusivity talk and he said he is not dating anyone else and doesn't want to. He was very specific about he is not playing games with anyone and doesn't want to ever. It is a long-distance "relationship". Because of that we`ve spent only few weekends together since we`ve met. Because of his job his residence is only temporary (he is from other continent and is basically very lonely in a city where he lives, because he even doesn't speak the local language and doesn't know many people there). In couple of months he will move back to his home country which will make our distance much greater.

Communication is going well, he is nice, sweet, supportive, caring. Everything is good. He said he likes me a lot. Couple of times early on he mentioned how would be nice if I could visit him at his home town (when he goes back). We always spend an amazing time together. Lots of laughter, jokes, doing stuff we both like, great sex, etc.

BUT: I noticed he is changing his Tinder bio occasionally (and also pictures). Just writing about himself, not saying anything about what is he looking for.

I dont know how I feel about that. Some of my friends say they use Tinder when travelling to meet people for drinks and dinners (even though they have partners). I dont know if I should ask him about it or not. I think it would be best to do it in person, but we will not see each other for couple of weeks more. Should I do it over text? Or I should just let it slide as we are still early in dating phase?

Does this mean he is into me? This Middle Eastern guy, and I say his race because M. E men don't like black woman like that. I grew up in the middle east; I know. I'm not attractive but I don't think I'm ugly, per se.
Anyway, this dude, he's 26 (Im 20) and I worked together on a lab, we share the same Bio class. I had seen him a few times and had started a conversation with him or two. To the point that I know his name, favourite sport, job, and age. He reminds me of a puppy.
I think he's smart and he seems to be friendly. He has implied that he thinks I'm smart in a conversation about how I might have gotten a 100% on a quiz while everyone got a 90%. I got an 88%.
I dont think he has a girlfriend and it seems that I can make him smile and laugh. As far as I am aware, he listens to me.
He's has moved closer to me be when we work, though I am sure he could see where he was. When I go back to my original group to finish my work, he "looked" around for me. He came over and hugged me, and told me he had to go. Also, he let me take off his hat (not a turban) and mess with his hair. He asked me if I liked his hat and I said I did but I want to see his hair more. He said has to cut but I told him that next time to expect him to be without his hat.
He said, "I got you."
