i had some bad experiences with people in high school and literally have no friends. Now im starting college and in a program with a small class (im the youngest). My classmates just keep asking me about assignment questions and i was happy to help them. None of them talk to me afterwards, they only talk to me when they needed help. I don't even have any one to eat lunch with.

Like this one woman keeps on asking me questions, and was all nice, now she doesn't need my help anymore and won't even talk to me

Am i being too nice? I mean back in high school, many people took advantage of me too. I TRIED LOOSEN UP A BIT NOW AND THIS STILL HAPPENS.

So certainly there are some bad actor dogs and et owners that make the case more difficult but generally if it isn't a health code violation or an issue where the dog might do damage I say let's loosen up a bit and get real.

My biggest gripe is convenience store or gas stations that don't serve anything that isn't prepackaged yet they don't want my dog in the store for 90 seconds. In the city I reside in dogs are generally fine for most of my errand running. Chase bank even have me a doggy treat when I had to step in one time.

But then I travel to another part of my state and get harassed at a gas station that is a garage mainly and only has sodas and candy and the lady at the register told me my dog had to wait outside for the 2 minutes it took me to sign a receipt for a new battery.

in my town most pharmacies and whatever quick stop place not serving food will accept dogs. Even the libraries takes dogs so long as they aren't noise makers.

I think the rule should be let's accept dogs unless there is good reason not to accept them. Dogs want to go where we go.
