The Trump administration released new guidelines Wednesday for how universities and K-12 schools should handle complaints of sexual assault and misconduct as part of a contentious overhaul that Education Secretary Betsy DeVos launched in 2017.

Now, under reworked federal rules, alleged student perpetrators will have added protections, including the presumption that they are innocent throughout the disciplinary process and the right to be provided all evidence collected against them. Those students can also cross-examine their accusers and vice versa during live hearings, although it must be done through a lawyer or representative.

Under the Obama administration, the definition of sexual harassment was less specific — described as "unwelcome conduct of a sexual nature."

But the meaning has become narrower, using the Supreme Court's definition of harassment. The misconduct must fall under certain categories, including unwelcome conduct that is "so severe, pervasive and objectively offensive" that it "denies a person equal access to the school's education program or activity."

The way i see it, the current rules suck, all a woman... and yes its only women in college that have this power.. All a women need do is make the accusation. She needs no evidence, she needs no proof, no witnesses, nothing, and the accused is expelled from school. The most evil part of this, there were stories about a man who was passed out drunk, and he woke up to a girl having sex with him, he made a report, and was expelled, because the girls report had more merit even though he had witnesses and the like.. There are literally thousands of law suites against these schools because they failed to obey due process.. I see this as a welcome change.

I have been putting together a sports collection of my favorite team. I got a handful of autographs before I realized it was kind of silly to pay $100 for somone's name written in ink. For example, I could pay $225 for an autographed jersey and $125 for a 8x10. Fakes look exactly like the same thing and I could get a reprint 8x10 for $10 and a fake jersey for like $50. It looks the exact same and I don't ever plan on selling it so why not? When people are looking at it in my sports room it all looks real. I still worry about having a collection of fakes and looking cheap though. As a sports fan, what do you guys think? How would you see it?

Overpopulation is a very serious threat to humanity, this world can only sustain so many. I saw an ad on YouTube with data saying that Earth's population has doubled in the last 50 years.

This genuinely pisses me off because I think it's highly unfair to the couple who's been with each other for a long time and always wanted to have kids and would make great parents and could support their kids financially, physically and mentally, and they deserve to have kids, but their dreams of having those kids can potentially end because some people don't believe in birth control, people who don't like the feeling of condoms, people who put the carriage before the horse and had kids that they can't support, people who have kids to use them to abuse the welfare system, people who don't deserve to have kids but have them anyway.

I know this is more of an issue in other countries but I want to talk about American first.

In America (or at least where I live) has too many people who have sex irresponsibly and don't even think about the repercussions. The father leaves and the mother collects welfare and the father does the same to another and the cycle repeats. I've met these people in person, they don't give a fuck, the only thing they really give a fuck about i fucking. These people need to be sterilized and the ones who use the children for free welfare checks need to have their kids taken away and be raised in a proper home. Call me evil but what else can we do?

As for the other countries like India, Middle East, Africa, etc. I don't know what to do. They overpopulate mostly because of religious beliefs because they believe in having many children. You know what, I just thought about it, nobody should give up their rights to have children but everyone should give up their right to have more than 2 or 3 children, there problem solved! But who is going to tell these religious people that they can't have 6 kids they can only have 2 or 3?

Poor is eternal, and broke is temporary. I’ve been absolutely broke plenty of times in my life. I’m the last to judge someone down on their luck. However, I don’t understand how people are poor throughout their entirety of their lives.

You can setup your bills to completely pay for themselves out of your checking when your paycheck is directly deposited in your checking account. Investing has never been easier to get into. Collect 8% from the market every year, and put in a monthly contribution towards that every month. Compound the interest and watch it grow. Avoid overdraft fees and utilize credit cards towards your benefit and collect cash back rewards. Could list off a number of other really simple things.

I literally check my bank statements and bills about once every six months. My money coming in is automatically setup to go into different buckets that benefit me, and I don’t do any work at all. No phone calls. No stress about making payments. No forgetting. It’s easy. Living in 2020 is great.

I don’t understand how the poor stay poor for their entire lives with all of the options we have. It has to be a choice to stay ignorant after a certain point. Agree or disagree?
