Basically there's a teacher at the college I go to I am 23 so not a minor, he is 36/37 and we've always seen each other around the college ever since i done my first course at 16/17.. But we never really paid much attention obviously...

I started working part time in the college cafeteria to earn some money and that's when I really noticed him he was always coming in twice and then it was three times & was always chatty & smiley with me & I don't think he realised I was/ have been a student at the college.

Halloween last year I went into the pub with my friend who is a local & the teacher was at the bar & my friend obviously knew him so she said hello to him, I just smiled & we walked off got drinks had a dance and I kept noticing him staring and sometimes not very often turning away and smiling with he's friends. Eventually we were both at the bar at the same time but he was at the other end of the bar as the bar is U shaped he kept staring and then mouthed something to me I turned round to check he was talking to me & he was he offered me a drink so I accepted and & we danced together & chatted for a while then I gave him my number and he smiled but I never heard anything off of him. I started meeting my friend in the cafeteria at the college for lunch and he would constantly stare at me and he still does to this day but looks away when i look at him.

Everyone in the pub is constantly coming up to me saying he is staring and everything & all my friends have noticed.

I finally plucked up the courage to confront him & told him how I felt but he said he wanted to just be friends & got agitated saying I was just a kid. He's friends told me he fancies me & that he's mad.

He constantly stares at me & goes red & I mean constant but he doesn't ever say hello to me... He says hello to my friends.

What is the deal? My friends think it's because he's a teacher at my college/because he thinks I'm to young.

Does he like me or am I annoying him?

So this guy keeps staring at me this has been going on for a year now whenever he gets the chance he will glance at me for example there have been times where I walk down the hall and sit by backpack down on the floor and I see him staring at me he always stares at me first? And I stare at him back but he doesn't look away or smile or anything he just stares also when I was on the baseball field he was with his group of friends and they were standing there looking at me. But they weren't laughing so I don't think they were making fun of me, but when he does stare its not like look at me for 1 second then look away, (its a constant stare) he knows that I like him and he doesn't even care or at least that what it seems like when I l stare at him back. Also he even stared at me when he was on his way to keyboarding he walked up the steps and stood in front of the door looked at me for 5 seconds then went in with his friend. I really like him a lot and he is pretty cute but I don't understand why he constantly stares at me because when my friends asked him out for me he shrugged his shoulders then later that day I asked him out his friend walked by me and yelled "he said no" so I am very confused can anybody help me?
