Why does my ex boyfriend's best friend stare at me?

My ex and I broke up 3 months ago. He was the one who dumped me. But I've noticed that recently my ex boyfriend's best friend stares at me all the time. Whenever I see him in the hallway he's always staring at me. I know that my ex used to tell him things about our relationship. I don't talk to my ex's best friend at all, which makes it even weirder. I'm wondering if this constant staring could mean anything
