Me and my ex boyfriend have been broken up for almost 2 months now.
We had a great relationship!! However near the end, he started to get distant and then he initiated a breakup saying that it just 'came to an end' and that we're apparently 'too young and we should live a bit more' he told me he was going to regret it in the future but in the present it 'unfortunately has to be this way'.
Recently, I've caught him staring at me. We didn't talk for a while so I contacted him, but he completely rejected it, he didn't wanna talk. So I haven't tried talking to him again.
But yeah recently he'll just stare and whenever I look over, he'll either maintain his staring of quickly glance down.
Today, I was joking around with my friend and I noticed he was staring at me but he was smiling a little? Normally, he'll look at me with this sad face, but today was the first day I was really having fun and being happy.
however, later on, I found that he's been apparently 'chirpsing' this new girl. Him and this girl don't talk at school, but what I do know about this girl is that she isn't the kindest of them all but having said that, my ex has changed completely since the moment we split up. He's been talking horribly to people, dressing differently and even tried fitting in with the 'cool' people.
Which is another reason why I was confused with the constant staring. So I guess they're a perfect match haha.
But most people are saying that this is most likely a 'rebound' thing as there's no actual loving connection? I've also caught her looking at me, but she doesn't seem to like me that much which is strange because we've never really had any problems. I've always said hello to her and been friendly with her for years.
