So I want the Whitebeard Pirates logo because I really respect the character of Whitebeard from the anime One Piece:

The character of Whitebeard is very much what I aspire to be, generally speaking a good man, good father, and someone who protects what they hold dear. He's one of the few role models I have. I wanted a full quote he said but decided against it because it's too long and I don't want to risk a spelling mistake. So I'm choosing the Whitebeard pirates logo instead of the quote.

I was thinking of getting just the logo, on my chest, but then I thought about mixing the logo with the Heart Pirates logo:

I feel like I can design a really dope logo with a combination of these two.
So what do y'all think? Get the original, to keep the idea intact and "pure", or design a new one, to keep the basic idea but make it my own?
Additionally should I make a template first then ask this question?

Before that is decided upon I think it needs to be described what makes a good movie. A struggle, a question to ponder upon. Whenever I think of the modern day superhero movies only one quote comes to mind "A problem a protagonist can walk away from is a book a reader can walk away from.". Stories should be written to say something, to mean something... not the other way around.

I don't like emotions for emotions sake it needs to be justified, characters shouldn't exist to suppliment the powers, tech and action scenes so a studio can make a movie out of it but to tell a story. A fight is a fight but what diffrenntiates a street fight from a boxing match is the story, the struggle.



an emotional act written for writings sake maybe shouldn't expected to induce and entice emotions, if it's not genuine it's not genuine and that's that. Maybe, just maybe before writing something we need to have something to say. That's all I'm saying, don't flame me.


and that's what seperates the dark knight trilogy, man of steel, iron man and infinity war from the ben Affleck's batman, deadpool and captain marvel. Maybe i feel a bit too strongly about this, but the 'class' that used to exist is gone.
