She turned the question to me & said “I thought you were getting the other train until I said I’m getting this one. When we were alone on the train, was awkward. She pretended everything was ok but I could see the discomfort in her eyes.
- I know she’s afraid of being gossiped about. I told her I only see her as a friend. She became happy again. Although it’s always been a bit awkward ever since. I don’t think she cares as much when I avoid her.
