I've been postponing my decision to upgrade for a year now, and I think the time has come. First of all, Iphone X is too expensive for me. Secondly, the Iphone 8's release date in my country has yet to be announced (since we don't have apple store) but it is speculated to be next month. Lastly, I have already decided to stick with Apple because of personal reason, so please Apple vs Android is irrelevant here. Any thoughts? Are the price premium of the 8 over 7 worth it?

Apple says it's the new iPhone. However everything about it, was already released in the Samsung Galaxy S6.
So will you be buying old tech branded as Apple's greatest phone to date, or will you wait for something actually new?

Do you buy a phone because you need it or because it's the new thing on the market? Every time apple release a phone, iPhone5s was out , 6 months later iPhone6 is released and people with 5s go and buy the new phone. yet people with androids, keep their phones and most only update because of a broken screen or they need a replacement. so how do you buy your phones?
