Search Results: should i give her love note

So we've been broken up about two months and only dated two. But it seemed different you know? She seemed heartbroken and I wanted to talk to just understand things. But she'd didn't. But she would reply to my texts, but felt that we should just go from something to nothing. but of course wish the best for each other. I wasn't given a reason of the breakup and she moved onto another guy. I realize now i have a lot of other stuff to prioritize. She also was hurt when i didn't talk and seemed like i was fine. I wanted to send a note. Just like what i learned. Not like a i want you back. Maybe a little of "yeh I really cared for you and I hope you find someone to truly love you too" but like i understand people come and go. I guess part of me sorta is hanging on, but we took a break and she gave me that false hope and then broke up. But like i was the jealous type and that was probably the reason it pushed her away. Too little too late? But i wanted to send this message for me really. Not for her. Because like i learned things about love and like myself. Sounds complicated. I don't know.

This is a follow-up question but more detailed.

I am part of a group on facebook which was dedicated to something which a store gave out on Black Friday. One year, this store failed to give this item out. Someone who lost their loved one started a petition which was featured on a certain cable news channel which is constantly bashed. But I digress.

I befriended this person, she was in a relationship. Last Thanksgiving she and I started talking a lot about things and would talk every night (she moved to the other coast to start fresh). So it was a lot of long sleepless night but it was worth it. She stopped talking to me for a week because she didn't want the long distance thing. But a week or two later, she came back to talk to me.

A few weeks ago, the person she ran away from contacted her saying he "found" something of hers. After that contact, everything went south.. way.. way.. south.

We were planning a marriage, we were planning everything. We had an immediate connection. Like we were friends forever. Like she was a missing piece in a puzzle in life. Someone who is an amazing person.

With the breaks on that, did I invest too much into this too fast? Did her past rear its ugly head for a reason? was she lying to me about the ex because she is not over him?

Editors Note: I been in many long distance relationships, reason being, living in an area which is a big fish in a small pond, and everyone knows everyone else. You speak to someone on the street, they are so-and-so's cousin who you went to school with 22 years ago, and that person knows someone you met in the grocery store the other day.

I am comfortable in long distance relationships because that is all I ever known. So basically I sent her jewelry, stuff for her iphone, and other things. I am on a limited income but I did this just because my heart is big. I am stupid because this ALWAYS HAPPENS TO ME. My heart is on my sleeve always.


What do I do?
