I'm trying to get some female opinions on the best look. My hair was thinning pretty badly in my mid-20s, so I went and buzzed it all off. I feel like totally clean shaven is a good and younger look (could be wrong), but it's a ton of work maintain. Scruff feels the best, but it kind of makes me look super lazy. I feel like a light beard does the same. A full beard adds like 20 years onto the look. I've included some random examples below. Don't just vote - make some suggestions and give me some honest opinions. I'm interested in understanding the woman's take on it. Thanks.

At my job at a restaurant I'm a line cook, and this waitress flirts with me. I'm litterally the only guy she talks to there and she asks me to do stuff with her. My only problem is I'm young and obviously balding. I wear a hat in the kitchen because I'm required, and she's never seen me without it on.

My question is do you think if she saw this it would just turn her off? If you discovered a guy you liked had thinning hair would you be instantly turned off?

Young ladies 18-early 20's: I'm 19, and have a condition that made me lose scalp hair, a lot of thinning happened and I really have no choice but to shave it skinhead, people say I pull it off well, I'm paler and skinny but my face and headshape work well with it. But the big concern is young women, I've read so many stories of guys on the Internet who lost hair young and say forget about the pretty girl. I don't want it to be true but there are a lot of them out there. And truthfully I admit looks matter to me, I have higher standards but it's something I take seriously I'm not some player I only need one attractive girl in the end, so what I mean by saying this is; I don't blame girls for wanting an attractive partner either, I'm just wondering if no hair young makes you unattractive. I just can't imagine an attractive girl who obviously has plenty of options most all if not all have hair, would choose the bald guy. So young women, could you date a shaved bald young guy, keep in mind it's full Howie Mandell skinhead not even a shadow. I don't want feel good answers I want the truth, and before you answer picture if one actually approached you and asked for your number or complimented you to gauge your true reaction on the spot. I appreciate honesty, thanks for your time.

Had thinning hair since 16 and it got really bad up top so I just shaved it down the the skin, so when I say baldness I mean full blown howie mandel skinhead. My head works good for it but I wonder what young women think. It always seems to be grouped with other usually unattractive qualities like being overweight or scarring etc. By young women and young guys who say they have experience with young women talking about a bald head. So I gotta ask (answer with cold hearted honesty) would you most likely choose the guy with hair? Is a bald young guy at a dating disadvantage when it comes to attraction? Is he seen as less attractive etc.

Since I was very young my hair started thinning, at 18 I got tired of looking old so I got the Bic razor out and shaved it to the skin. It works ok, I'm slender and pale but head shape and face were decent for it. But I'm very self concious and think that most girls my age will not be attracted to it. I admit looks matter, we have to find our partner physically attractive as well as mentally so I don't blame girls for it. But there I a girl a year younger than me,(19 now) I like and want to talk to more but I just can't imagine a good looking 18 year old dating a bald 19 year old even if it's shaved. So I need to know, from young will this really hurt my chances? will I be at a disadvantage compared to guys with hair?

Since I was 18 my hair began thinning from a scalp condition. So at 19 I took a plunge and shaved it to the skin. I've tried being confident with it but I know looks do factor in for people I'm no different-and can't blame a girl for thinking the same. And I just really think that most girls this age wouldn't give thought to dating the bald guy, not saying they'd ignore him or be rude but just that, if a girls attractive and I like her, she can easily have plenty of guys WITH hair at this age so they'd do a whole 'I'm not a fan... But someone will be!' line to me, I'm sorry if that's sounding condescending but I'm tired of hearing it. I feel like for women below thirty this will really be a turnoff. So young women would you date a bald guy? (Keep in mind it's shaved not balding) could you even be attracted to one at this age? Honesty, even if it's negative is appreciated if it's respectful. Before you post really consider if one approached you at a party or on the street and was showing interest and what you'd truly say.

I'm a 19 year old guy that got a benign stress condition after my father passed last year, it caused me to lose a lot of hair all diffuse (no bald spots just thinning even on the sides) and I was told treatment wouldn't work for hat happened to the follicles. so I opted to shave it off. I recently posted a question on here if young women found shaved heads attractive and the most common answer was something along the lines of 'if the guy can pull it off" so thats why I'm here posting this pic. ladies, preferably late teens to early twenties, do you think I pull off the shaved head decent or does it look bad on me? personally I don't mind it but I really want to know what women my age think and please be honest, I appreciate honesty even when its brutal at times.
