there's this guy that Im friends with
I do like him
But he's mostly the one initiating contact several times a week
And he initiates hanging out at least once a week (to movie , dinner or lunch)
So anyway lately he has been sending me random messages like sending me facebook memes or random videos
And then sometimes he would message me like this:
Him - are u asleeep?
Me - no why?
Him - just asking.. bye 😂😂
Me - lol ur so bored aye
Him - nah im playing online game but just wanted to annoy you 😋😂
Why does he send me random messages?
And saying he just wants to annoy me?
Does it mean he might like me too?

I enjoy it and probably need therapy hehe. Its entertainment. I like seeing the fights that go down and the secrets that come out. My shows:

First off, Im friends with this guy
We had dated before but we didn't work out eventually
So we just remained friends after that
Anyway so I was busy doing things
And then I saw a text message from him asking "u busy?"
But i was busy so it was 20 minutes later when i saw the messages
Then he double texted saying "nevermind"
So i replied when I saw the messaages and said "hey sorry for late reply, whats up?"
And then he messaged me 20 minutes later "are u home?"
Then i said "yeh whats up?"
Then he replied "nothing just wanted to annoy u 😂"
What the heck?
So i didn't reply to him
And then he messaged again saying "do u know any good movies I can watch? Im bored"
But i didn't reply to that message yet
Then he called me up
And i answered his call:
Me - hello?
Him - hey whats a good movie to watch?
Me - um i dont know..
Him - what u doing?
Me - watching a movie
Him - really? And u can't suggest a movie? What movie you watching?
Me - this romantic comedy movie
Him - whats it called?
Me - whats your number
Him - whats that about? Are u tryna find ways to pick up guys?
Me - what? Its not even about that. Its about this girl slept with 19 guys and doesn't want to sleep more than 20 guys
Him - whats up with women and those type of movies? ok all good. You enjoy that movie. I'll just watch this new movie I've wanted to watch.
Me - alright
Him - ok bye
What the hell is that call about?
How random
Would a guy call just to ask about that?
Im hella confused
Does this mean he might still like me?
Or was just bored?

So a guy I've been talking to online on and off for about almost 2 years asked me to stay up. He wanted to talk after he was done work late. So I told him I would try. We talk on one social media and i asked maybe one day we can exchange numbers and talk. I fell asleep. He then messaged me on another social media. He called me twice. He told me to wakee up and he was bored and can't sleep.

So say you’re talking to someone new of the opposite sex (who’s a potential partner )
You only just started talking, let’s say a week maximum, and you don’t reply for whatever reason eg:
1. They seem eager
2. You got sidetracked
3. You got bored

And because you didn’t reply they start messaging you stuff like “guess that’s a no then” or “are u just gonna ignore me?”
As tho you owe them something when you don’t.
Who else finds this annoying and clingy?
