Let me preface this by saying my involvement in the dating scene is brief and infrequent, so maybe I believe something to be more common than what's real.

Months ago I came into contact with an amazing girl for a brief 2 months. We liked each other a lot. Endless communication between the two of us, endless admiration and attraction for one another, and endless laughs. However, I learned she didn't want to have kids but it's always been my dream to have some. I reasoned with her that there was someone out there for the two of us that'd be perfect, she agreed and we broke it off. Of course it wasn't that fast, (important) it was very tough for both of us to end communication after that convo, but she ultimately ripped the band-aid off and we wished each other a very warm and complement filled fair well and best of luck in life.

Recently I came across her profile on an old site which I haven't used in forever. I still like her a lot. I see she's liked me, but am not sure from when. I'm afraid that my reaching out and wishing her the best could re-kindle a flame that could hurt her, because she and I know we want two different and very important things to us. There is more to the "not wanting a kid", and I won't say more. Just understand no means no in her case.

What should I do? What's the best thing for her? Is it ok to match and wish her well or should I let things be the way they are?

I started chatting with this lady last night; she asked for my number and we started texting. Tonight we're chatting and there is a lull in the conversation and I go take care of some stuff. I decide to get back on POF where I met her and I see her second profile. We haven't even talked about meeting in person; and she gets mad at me for still using the dating app. Am I wrong for thinking that I should continue talking with others from this site if all we have done is texted each other about our likes?

If a guy is single he has to go above and beyond to convince a girl that he's good enough to take her out on a date. Even still, this usually only happens after several rejections which only makes the loneliness feel even worse. Girls are constantly being chased and complimented and made to feel like they are desired, wanted, and sought after. They receive so many messages that they ignore most of them and can be as choosy as their heart desires.

My ex for example was already hooking up with guys on Tinder within days of our breakup, meanwhile I was barely even getting matches and got no dates whatsoever until 8 months after the breakup. Girls, even if you're only getting messages for guys looking for hookups, it's a whole new level of loneliness when you get literally NOTHING and get ignored or rejected by nearly everyone.

Like literally no human contact whatsoever aside from myco-workers (all male) and literally 0 matches or replies on any and every dating site.
