Search Results: keep your relationship exciting

You know when it's a new relationship and you're so excited and so deeply in love with this person that you want to spend every single minute of your life with and talk all the time with that person, on the phone, on the internet... I guess you know what I am talking about. :)

What I am asking is... should we try to keep some mistery alive? Not tell everything right away? Not talk with that person all the time every day? Say "no" sometimes, say "I am not available, but we can go tomorrow" when he/she invites you out?
I'm afraid of routine, of having no more mistery, of him not going after me anymore.

I have had relationships with the kind of crazy spark where you can't keep your hands off each other and everything is one big rollercoaster ride full of intense emotions and you make the craziest memories. And then I have had the kind of relationship where that spark isn't there but the guy is crazy about you. The sex is ok but you know, just sex. where you love him but its nothing exciting. I've been told that these are the relationships that last and so its better than the super passionate spark because that fades. I really need some opinions on this coz I'm at the point where I need to decide if I should marry this guy. Help

I've been dating my boyfriend for about 6 months. We don't necessarily text a whole bunch during the day so at night we usually have a phone conversation before bed. Some days it is longer than others.

For example, we may have a 10 minute conversation then another day it may be an hour all depending on how eventful our days were. Is this normal? I really like talking on the phone but he isn't much of a phone person. (We live about 45 minutes away from each other so during the week the phone is our only means of communication)

Days when he doesn't seem like he wants to talk I take it personally because I feel like he should be excited to talk to me.

Guys, is this normal for a relationship to not want to talk a whole bunch each day? He keeps reminding me that he has been single for so long that he isn't used to talk to someone daily. He said all of this is new to him and is taking some getting used to. He says he likes talking to me but doesn't have a lot to talk about each day.
