Examples on pro-sorting people: Nazis, Social Darwinist etc.

Way to sort away people: Forced sterilization, selective abortions, illegal to marry certain people, killing "undesirable" people, sending them to camps etc.

Examples on features they wants to remove: Low intelligence, disease/disabilities/injuries, political views, looks, sexuality, ethnicity, criminals.

Arguments they may use:
- With less people with low intelligence the society would improve a lot and be more advanced. Intelligent people who breeds with other intelligent people would get intelligent babies and therefor we can develop new technology.

- Without people with certain genes in the gene pool there would be less diseases and disabilities. There would be less economical burden for the society and less need of doctors, hospitals and nursing homes. With euthanasia of the sick less people have to suffer.

- Less criminals and criminal genes may result less criminality and suffering for the nice majority.

My Opinion:
I think a sorting society and human cleansing are ethically and morally wrong. I do however think not everyone with these thoughts had bad intentions or were evil and thought human selections would be beneficial for the society. What we sees as evil may be utopia in their eyes. They should have more empathy toward people and not doing these things, but I don't think they're seeing themselves as the bad guys. Maybe they felt they protected the "good" majority against these undesirable "dangerous" people. Maybe they didn't want the minority to be a burden to the society. A person supporting euthanasia of the sick may think it could save their family's for time, money, energy etc. The world isn't as black-white we likes to think.

In different countries and cultures there are different languages, rules in what's polite to do, norms etc., so do you debate/discuss differently with people in your country than people abroad? #Language #Culture #Debate #Discussion

My Opinion:
I discuss differently with Norwegians than people on GAG, Americans etc. I also do it differently if it's written or oral. In Norway I've to be very polite, use the right words, not say it too directly etc. many times because I can easily offend people if not, but on GAG and with Americans I can use a more direct and casual language. Not only because of it's not my 1st language and I'm not that skilled in it, but also because of different norms. When I'm writing I'm more formal than when I talks.

When discussing abortion people on the internet doesn't get as offended if I says "It's causing a lot of deaths" or "It's killing a lot of babies". I "can't" say that in the PC Norway without not being taken seriously. Then I've to say that every human beings are equally worth and sorting societies aren't okay, and then come up with some advanced words. With foreigners I can have a casual, but civil tone, but in my country a more friendly and formal one is expected. That's the reason why Sylvi Listhaug is controversial in Norway, but would never be it in the US. Ben Shapiro and Steven Crowder are very polite, but wouldn't fit the stereotypical Norwegian style.

US: Smoking is unhealthy and bad. You can die!

Norway: People who smokes gets unwanted medical conditions like lung cancer more frequently, therefor it's important to held these campaigns so less people would start smoking.

A 27-year-old woman has been told she may never be able to have children after having 17 abortions

Doctors say the woman may now be infertile because her uterus is so badly damaged after all the procedures.

Zhao Qin, head of gynaecology at Shiyan Maternity and Child Health Care Hospital in China, said she had implored the pregnant woman to keep her child - because it may have been her last chance at motherhood.

However, the 27-year-old insisted on the procedure, leaving Zhao and her colleagues no choice but to perform what was the patient's 17th abortion in just six years.

The woman had her first abortion when she was 21, the year she began dating her current boyfriend of six years, with whom she apparently does not use any contraception.

Since then, medics say she has become a "regular customer" at the hospital's gynaecology department, averaging nearly three abortions per year.
