I`m really confused about his behavior. I have never been good at dating as I dont understand male behavior. So guys, please share your opinion!

So, I`m dating this guy for 3 months. We are separated by 3 hour drive. Usually he came to my town for couple of days or I went to his. We chatted every day, also talked on the phone or had video calls. We have an amazing physical chemistry and also have fun all the time we are together (cooking, taking road trips, exploring cities, etc). He is very caring and affectionate and usually spoiled me rotten. I enjoy returning him the favor. :)
Last month his schedule was full with previously planned things (vacation) and we were not able to see each other. I asked him when will we and he set a weekend for us. Than he got sick. After he got well I asked him whats the plan now about seeing each other. He wanted to know when I am free, told him and he said he has to check his schedule and will let me know. Since than (2 days ago) I haven't heard from him. I am being stubborn and I am not initiating any kind of chat until he does. He is still reacting to all my social media posts and he is even adding me on new ones. But he didn't let me know when he would be able to see me.

I dont know what to do at this point, I just know I would prefer things being clear and him letting me know if he is interested or not. By the way he is behaving I would say he is not that into me (no matter what he said in previous weeks about how much he likes me).

I've known my guy best friend since I was about 9 and he was 12. We separated for a little bit because I moved but now we're back in the same state and we decided to rekindle our friendship. He has a wife who he has been with for 4 years. Married for 1. I HARDLY see this man because he is married and I don't want to be hanging around him 24/7. We talk on the phone like twice a week. I NEVER text or call him first, he's always the one to initiate it. I've been nothing but nice to his wife so that she wouldn't be uncomfortable with me but apparently that isn't working because she still doesn't like me. I am so sick of him being in my ear about how his wife doesn't trust me around him or whatever but he says that im his best friend and im important to him. I'm honestly just about to cut him off because I can get real disrespectful and I respect him enough to not follow up his bitter ass wife.
