First of all, the two of them started off as dating. They were messing around with each other for 2 months. In the end, they realized they don't work out as a couple so decided to remain as friends. They became best friends of 10 years. It is so long ago, so I was fine with her and the whole situation. I never thought she would still have feelings for him. My fiancé is not attracted to her 10 years ago & obviously has never touched her since. He has been through other serious relationships. We have been together for 2 years and we are stable. I know he loves me and it is not about trust. She needs to get the message that she is not respecting me or our relationship for 2 years, so sorry, you are out.
Since the first day, she avoided to meet me. I find already find that weird. She lives 5 minutes away and makes up a lot of excuses for months. The funny this is, she will be free when it is only my boyfriend. When she asks him out and she knows I'm coming, she just disappears! That happened couple times. Maybe I am thinking too much, but come on, it is shady. When we met, she won't follow me on social media and made me follow her. Isn't that rude? She doesn't like me for sure and I don't care if it's because of me. However, if it is because of my boyfriend, then that's different. I think she has unrequited love for him and she is hiding it! She tells my boyfriend that I am showing red flags that I will cheat on him whenever we argue. She doesn't even know me. She is a problem now and will be in the future. I was willing to make her part of our lives but within the 2 years, she just wants to be part of my boyfriend's life. She is alienating me and not liking me for no particular reason. She has not once try to be warm to me is pretty fishy. And expect me to be okay with you asking my boyfriend out alone? My boyfriend agrees that she is being shady after I pointed out the points. He has no problem cutting her out. I just feel bad because it's not in my nature!

My boyfriend told me last night that he thinks I shit talk him and demonize him behind his back whenever we have a fight when that couldn't be farther from reality. This was all based on a misunderstanding about what one of my friends told him, she told him things I said about myself but she thought I meant they were about him. So this came across like I was shit talking him and he admitted he hasn't really trusted me since! I would never go around saying bad things about him because I only want people to think the best of him. But sometimes when we argue I do ask my mom or best friend for advice, not ranting about him just asking for advice is that wrong? Usually their advice ends up helping me resolve the argument.. I do keep serious things between the two of us I only ask for advice on stupid stuff like "How do I nicely ask him to not leave his laundry in piles all over the floor?" and that's the extent of it. But 90% of the time whenever I talk about I'm to other people I am bragging about how great he is and I wish he'd trust me on this! It just scares me that a small understanding where I never even said anything about him and was only talking about myself could turn into him not trusting me for nearly a year! I explained all of this to him and asked him to confront me about it right away instead of bottling it up for months, and getting more and more upset over something that isn't even true. But it still feels like he'd rather believe my friend's mistake over me and still refuses to trust me. So now I feel like shit and don't know what to do. It just sucks that just because my friend misheard what I said and told him thoughtlessly what she thought I said my whole relationship is rocky. Maybe if he'd asked someone for advice they ould have told him to just confront me and ask me about it before it got this bad and he started resenting me.
