My bf and i have only been dating for 10 months. We have been living together for 8 as he is the one that asked me to move in with him. He has talked to me about marriage and kids before and ssid that someday it will happen. A few weeks ago he was a little drunk and i said something about getting married in 10 years (jokingly) and he replies "no it will happen within 5 years".
It sometimes hard to believe if he means it or not though. Somedays he can be a jerk and other days he can be loving. I have trust issues and am insecure so that doesn't help. Last night on the way home from the bar I brought him to his pickup and our song by George straight came on. I turned it because I was going to be dropping him off and I like to listen to it with him. He asked why I turned it and I told him and he's like so you can still listen to it. Then he said this song is gonna be played at our wedding. He also finishes inside of me and says that if he didn't want a kid with me he wouldn't do that. I don't know if i should believe him 100% about wanting to get married. What do you think?

So last night my bf and i got on the subject of marriage. We have talked about it before and he has said he wants to be with me forever and have kids with me someday. We have been dating for 10 months and living together for 8. He is the one that asked me to move in. We have only been apart 3 nights since we have been living together. He brought thay up a couple months ago. He said "do you know since we been dating that we have only been apart 3 nights". I asked him if that was good or bad and he said it's neither.
Well last night we were talking about marriage and kids. I told him I would believe it when it happens because I asked if he just says it because it's what I want to hear or if he actually means it. He said he means it and I said k I'll believe it when it happens. Then jokingly I said what is it gonna be in the next 10 years n he said no then I said 5 years and he said yeah with in the next 5 years. Another thing and the main reason I wrote on here is because of this. Sorry this is to much information. But for the past couple months when we are making love he has finished in me. I'm on birth control which I know is not 100% but we know if it was to happen we would be OK with it. Before a couple months ago he would SOMETIMES finishes in me but not all the time like he does now. I asked him why he use to only do it sometimes and other times he didnt. He said because he didn't know if i was mature to have a kid. Then he said that now he knows he wants to be with me. I asked him why he realizes now that he wants to be with me forever when he didn't before. He said because when we first started dating he didn't know how long I planned on staying with him. I'm just confused on why he use to finish in me only sometimes but now it's all the time. Also how come it took him this long for him to realize he wants to be with me forever. He said he realized that at 8 months. He went to Canada for 3 nights in march so maybe he realized it then but maybe not.

What are your views on couples living together before marriage? for me personally, i can see it as a good and bad thing. Good because it could save two people from making a mistake of marrying each other if they find out that they can't live together and for financial reasons since the U. S. economy isn't the best. I see it as bad because my parents frown upon it and don't think its right. I think the view on it is changing as the next generation is getting older.
