Boyfriend wants baby before marriage.

I have known my boyfriend for over 8 years we have been dating for almost a year. Been living together since November. I am 35 and have 3 kids but he doesn't have any of his own and would like one but like I tell him I am not getting any younger but would like to get married before having any more children. He doesn't think that is necessary but I do as I have 3 kids and never been married before. I just think that it would be nice to get married before having babies. I am willing to get my tubes untied to give him a child of his own but how do I get him to propose to me and marry me right away so we can get started adding to our family. We both have great jobs and make very good money. Anyone have any advice for me that can speed up the process? I don't want to be 39 having a baby.

I think you just tell him that you want to be married before you have children. it's a fair request and if he loves you one that he should understand and at the very least be willing to consider. I mean for you to have a procedure to have your tubes untied and have his child without some commitment regarding your future is an awful lot for him to expect... just tell him you want to be married or at the absolute least be engaged with a wedding date set

We have discussed it and he doesn't feel that we have to get married before having a baby. So I guess the choice is up to me to decide if I will go against what I want. I am just trying this internet question thing out is all.

Im too young to give advice in this case but i guess the best way is just talk to him directly. You both are mature enough to take care of your own family so if he loves you, he will marry you. Otherwise, i dont think its worthy to bear a baby for him.

You may be young but do have good advice. I am going to hold my ground on this one and get married before bringing a baby into this world. I dont need to be a single mom with 4 kids lol
