My boyfriend wants a baby

Ok I'm 16 years old me and my boyfriend, he’s 18, have never had sex (we get close but we never go too far) so it was surprising to hear him say he wanted me to have his children We’ve been dating for 3 years now . At first I thought he was kidding and ended up hurting his fillings. I know that he would make a great father because he had to raise his own sister and brother (his dad left them when he was 10 and his mom had to work a lot then she got remarried) So I'm not afraid that he would leave me it just that were both a students and I want to go to college and I want him too also. (It took me a lot to prove myself being the only black girl in most of my honors classes and dating a white guy). I'm not ready to start a family but he is so what should I do. (He would be able to take care of the babies and me he works part time at his step dad’s job and our families love each other and want us to get married when we finish school.) I've talked to his mom about it and she said that she knows he wanted it but to think about what I want. What should I do? I don’t want to break up with him he’s the love of my life right now lol and I couldn’t stand being without him.

He should respect your decision to wait. I respect your decision and agree with you. If he doesn't obey and respect your decisions then you shouldn't be with him. If he will leave you because you want to continue/finish your education first then he is not somebody you need. His mom was right. You are the one going to be carrying/having the baby so you think about what YOU want not anyone else. Maybe finish school, get married, then have the baby so you can have some stability for EVERYONE. Finish college first. TRUST ME. College is hard and challenging with time enough and you are young so you have a long time to get pregnant. Plus, since you are so young, you and your feelings might change in time and as you mature. I'm talking about your feelings about him, life, babies, etc. If I had a baby, went to college, I would blow my brains out. So take it slow. If he loves you and it's meant to be he will wait forever and since you truly think he is the one then you can have all the time in the world to get pregnant. Go to college. It will help in the long run A LOT. Especially if you want kids you are giong to need a college education, especially these days. But PLEASE think of the consequences before you jump into something.! For the babies sake.

Why would that upset him? He souldn't get upset if he loves you, trusts you, and respects you. If you do upset him he will get over it.

If he gets upset you need to dump him!.... If he doesn't respect you enough to listen to your feelings, then he certainly won't be a good father... It doesn't sound like a stable relationship to me.

He has to listen to your feelings and your decision. Its up to you to decide whether you want a child or not. Alternatively you two could get married when you turn 18 and you can have a child then.
