First let me give you some background. There's this girl, I had feelings for couple years back. We went to same uni. We had kinda had casual "Hi" type of acquintance before, but we really got close in second semester of our senior (last) year. I don't really rember why but for some reason she asked me some advice on her personal matter, we struck up a conversation, and who would've known that this almost complete stranger and me had so much in common. Anyways the spark was there, so we started texting back&forth. We both had our plates full me with study for upcoming Diploma work/jobhunt after that and her with the plan to go abroad to continue studying so we didn't have much time for dates. Still I squeezed a couple in. Let me make this abundantly clear (If this wasn't obvious): *We weren't a couple, nothing happened between us.* Her going away was always in the back of my head and I tried not to invest too much emotionally in this relationship and I was always holding back. After all the academic stuff, in the summer I caught a break and took a long weekend at the seaside. As luck (or misfortune) would have it she was there too. We spent three days together and there I realized that I had fallen for her, and pretty fucking hard too. But fully realizing that she was going to leave no matter what, still unsure of her feelings towards me, and never finding fitting moment to do - I never made the move. She went away. I stayed and tried to continue with my life. It was brutal. We kept in touch but I never said how I felt (I mean she isn't dumb it was pretty obvious but it was sort of unspoken secret). Anyways it took me about an year to get over her and get on with actual life (her constantly writing me didn't help). It's been years now. We're friends. She's back for a week and wants to see me.
