Hi, I'd like to know what you'll think (especially the guys). Also, I'll leave out details for privacy.

At the beginning of this year I met this man (a client of mine) online. I'm a language teacher. I worked with him and got along great, I was living in Europe at the time and am still married and he is in America (where I'm originally from). After many complicated days I ended up telling him I was running away from Europe from abusive husband. Long story short, he helped me without me asking, literally saving my life and got me to America. We kept working together and met up in person twice, he was great.

Ever since then, we keep doing this:

- Whatsapp EVERY single day (not romantically tho), it feels as though we'd miss each other if we ever missed a day.. that's my feeling though. If I don't write first, he writes first
- Since he helped me I told him I would never charge him again, he still insists, but I think he's given up, we talk on the phone about 4 times/wk for around 1.5 hrs each time (not romantically, teaching, but we laugh tons)
- He is very generous, always offering help, checking in on me - we share lots in common (food, politics, books, humor, etc)
- He laughs everytime I do, even before telling him whatever I'm thinking about (I'm very giggly)
- we read each others' book recommendations and talk for hours about them.

About a month ago he was very nervous and told me some very personal things (he really doesn't open much about his private life). He has a girlfriend, hardly ever mentions her (has about 3 times, 2 out of those 3 were not good things and he kept telling me "I hope you'll still talk to me after I tell you this/I'm sure you'll want to forget about me..", he says he wants to stop his relationship but has failed, not sure why he even told me, but is making me wonder. We never flirt, I'm resisting, not sure if he's resisting as well. I'm sure his girlfriend doesn't know about me.
My family and I are forever grateful for what he did for me...

Im going to keep this short and simple, ill give you a bullet list of things I found mysterious about this guy I have a crush on. One thing to keep in mind is that he thinks/knows I like him back. (I never told him) And we are not friends. Here are a few things I have noticed:
-Catch him looking at me
-Laughs at things I say sometimes.
-Walking past me quickly in the hallway or avoiding eye contact
-Lingers around my desk
-Finds ways to make me blush
-Friends have started to act werid around me
-My friends tells me she heard him talking about me, and other guys saying he had/s a crush on me
-Sometimes it seems like he purposely acts bored around me or when Im presenting to the class (he pays attention to everyone else)
-He flirts and talks to other girls... but is shy and never talks to me
-A few times when he walked past me his friends would go "Hey your blushing!" (Idk if he was blushing because of me or cause the teacher told him to go sit... but he usually never blushes"
-Sometimes when I start to talk to my friends he stops what he is doing or gets closer to my group.
-He can never look me straight in the eyes.

Those are just a few things that I've caught... so what do you think?

He's probably about six years older than me- I'm a senior in high school and I think he's in grad school. Would it creep him out if I was flirty? Is it even worth doing? What's the risk and what's the benefit? Also- please include as a comment if you imagine he ever thinks of me in the same way I think of him.

*Keep in mind-
- This isn't an in-school tutor or one who lives nearby, it's one I pay to go to
- I kind of DO need him as a tutor because he's a good teacher and I'd fail my AP class without him
- I'm - by most standards, I think - pretty... So it's not like Honey Boo-Boo's mom in teenage form is flirting with him.

- Has a very dark sense of humor (likes offensive memes 😂)
- Overall nice dude
- Hasn't really dated since 8th grade
- Junior in high school
- KNOWS I LIKE HIM (and said he likes being single bc it makes things easier, but thinks I'm "pretty cool")
- STILL FLIRTS WITH ME THOUGH (shoving, playful banter)
- WE BOTH HANG OUT OUTSIDE OF SCHOOL W/ FRIENDS STILL

Choice 2: Devante


- Aspiring SoundCloud rapper
- Pessimistic
- Also has a similar dark sense of humor
- Good friends with Johnathan
- Recently broke up with girlfriend a few months ago, and is still trying to get over her
- Junior in high school
- HAS CALLED MY EYES PRETTY
- HAS COMPLIMENT MY SHIRT BEFORE
- ALSO IS FLIRTY (sometime engages in playful banter, but not as often as Johnathan does with you)
- SHOWED ME HIS AWESOME POETRY SKILLS

Choice 3: Caleb


- Extremely, extremely nice
- Has a weird, dry sense of humor
- Doesn't date much
- Senior in high school
- TRIED TO GIVE ME HIS Halloween GIFT AFTER I SAID IT WAS CUTE
- HAS GONE TO WORK LATE JUST TO HELP ME WITH SOMETHING AND DRIVE YOU HOME
- TEACHER THINKS WE LIKE EACH OTHER (lol she was suspicious of you guys when you were alone in the darkness of the computer lab that connects to her classroom. But, nothing happened of course!)
