Things came to a head with someone I was briefly seeing. I hurt her, and she wanted to end but said if i got my shit together she would reconsider. So i go to agree to a month-long break, with 2 weeks no contact, and then she'll let me know what she thinks. Is there a chance she wants this time to just get over me and move on?

We still like each other, but we both agree that it wasn't good for us rn, and that there were too many problems in our lives which were making us miserable at the moment. I really like this person too, and I think we could be really happy together if we sorted through some of our problems first (especially me). I also know, from myself, her, and mutual friends, that she is a very straightforward person who usually, but not always, says what she means. My worry is that she isn't serious about this and that it's a soft rejection.

Like i get that she's ending things, but is she serious about being willing to consider after a month or in the future?

I tried to fix things halfway through 2017 and it didn't help anything. So I just let her finish her mission without bother.
I reached out to her before her mission end with a letter trying to fix things, but never heard from her. I reached out on her old cellphone number when I thought she was back, and her brother said she got my letter. I reached out to her on social media and she declined my requests...

I'm honestly still heartbroken after months, and I had nightmares of her marrying and moving on. She's basically changed how she sees herself now, and a woman I know who's married to a Mormon says she's probably still on a religious high, and will realize I'm her rock and reach out again. But it sucks. I don't understand how she could treat me this was when she wanted to marry me before she left.
