I'll start with mine. It was my last semester exam and one of the subjects was pure crap. Industrial management stuffs, remotely related to core subjects. I had to go to the toilet for the first time in entire semester to get a 5 marks math problem done. So I left the hall with invigilator's permission. While I was moving out a friend of mine tried giving me signals and I looked back and I entered the restroom, while looking back at him. I looked inside and there was no one inside to help. I was so disappointed that I didn even notice the different setup of toilet. Then I noticed a guide book there and found a formula in it to get the math done. As I was about to walk out from door, a friend of mine was coming towards the rest room and he rushed to me. We again went inside the restroom and I showed him the formula to solve the math. As we were discussing other multiple choice questions, the door got opened and a girl got inside and her jaw fell down. She said, 'hey, what are you guys doing here?' We shouted, 'what do you mean? What are 'you' doing here? It's for boys.' She got so confused with our confidence, that she opened the door again and saw the board on the door and shouted back, 'no no noo, it's a girl's toilet.' We suddenly became aware that our surrounding did not look like men's toilet and had to leave saying, 'shit shit shit', while the girl kept giving us a glare. While re-entering the hall the girls near to door of the hall, gave me a pretty smile as they noticed , where I went and chose to remain silent about it ;) ..

No matter how hard I try in my Calculus 1 class, I could just never quite understand the homework problems that my professor gives my class and It's extremely frustrating to the point where I just want to bang my head against the table. When I take notes from her lectures and listen in class, I'd feel confident and think I understand the concepts... until she gives us her own written HW assignments with very vague questions

It's frustrating for me because I don't hate math, I'm just frustrated that I can never be an expert at it my whole life no matter how many times I go to free tutoring at my school and practice.

At this moment for me, trying to understand my Calculus HWs are like trying to understand Egyptian hieroglyphics. I pick Software Engineering as my major because I love to work with computers and video game consoles during my spare time and I find the rest of the other majors to be either useless or uninteresting to me for my future job. I've been told that I don't have to be a master at mathematics to be a good software engineer, but to at least remember how to apply certain math problem solving skills when coding and many other things software engineers do.
