The baseball team played from 1913 to 1955 and did win a game by an 8 to 4 score versus in Saint Louis Cardinals in the early 1930s, albeit an exhibition game. They regularly played against the Major League, Negro League, Independent teams and Minor League.

The basketball team played 1925 to 1954 and from 1943 to 1949 in those 7 years had a record of 1201 wins and 78 losses. That's right there over 90% alone. They were tall and athletic for their time. They played many college level teams and even against the Harlem Globetrotters.

So please share which sport you think they had greater success in! I think basketball is which ones they did. I'd say they won 70% in baseball but 90+% in basketball.

A long streak in the 4 main pro sports leagues in America came to an end yesterday. The Spurs will not be playing in the 2020 NBA Playoffs. The last time they failed to play on the playoffs was 1997. They had made it 22 straight years, which was the longest current playoff streak and tied for longest ever in the NBA. They played 22 straight years in playoffs from 1998 to 2019. The longest ever streak in the pro sports was by the Boston Bruins who played in 29 straight playoffs from 1968 to 1996 and oddly enough, their streak ended in 1997, which was same year the San Antonio Spurs had last missed it prior to 2020.

How do you reflect on this streak and do you think it was amazing that they nearly made it 23 straight?

Please share if you think another NBA team will play in 20+ straight playoffs or not! I honestly don't think another team will anytime soon.

Long story short that leads to this:

I go over to my friends to drink tonight. Towards the end we're all playing smash. I absolutely suck ass which fine I admit multiple times while playing. My friends brother gets into calling me shit constantly and I'm not backing down because regardless of him actually doing the best, he's only won 1 game. Out of the 5 games most of the time it was me saying "well you aren't winning" every time he called me bad.

This ended up with him getting in my face saying "I will woop your ass" and my response was "I'm not putting my hands on you". After this he chases me out the door (I'm not staying near him regardless) I sprain my ankle walking down the steps and he calls me an idiot for that... cool. I drank a shit ton, don't' feel safe crashing on their couch so I drove home smashed. Stupid I know... I didn't know what else to do.

I knew drinking around people I don't know would be a bad idea because I don't know these people minus the one friend. Now I'm sitting here crying my eyes out because I topped off the shitty idea of hanging out with my friend with driving home drunk. I keep reading bulshit online "Men can cry" but it doesn't make me feel better. Ignoring how I feel and playing League would make me feel better. Crying my sadness out over how bad the night turned out isn't helping me. Whoever said crying is "Okay" was wrong. I'd rather ignore it, move on and be happy again.

I seem to keep meeting girls that say stuff like "im hot, you would be lucky to be with a girl as hot as me" or "guys think i have a perfect body" but looking at them id rate them a 4 to 7. Its pretty annoying. I can see some guys putting up with some attitude for a 9 or a 10 or someone out of their league but a 6? Wtf?

Two of my buddies said that they don't care about the University they attend for their Math degrees because all of them teach the same material based on a Curriculum, and that all that comes out of going to an Ivy League University is that it will state so on the Degree; it's basically a branding sort of thing. Is this true?

Who do agree or disagree with the league basically forcing them to change their nickname?

I think they ought to have the freedom to use it, even if racist. Their free will is not an immediate physical attack. It might be offensive to some but it is their right to choose. If we do things that's offensive to others, they will complain too but absolutely anything could offend people. Some people are offended by men wearing earrings or having long hair. We can't appease others by submitting to their wishes always.

You are a beautiful girl and you know this, not because you're conceited, but because you are reminded by others often, perhaps even approached by a lot of guys. If this happens to you a lot than answer the following.

Do you get sick of guys asking you out in public because so many scumbags, perverts , creeps, or aggressive men have made it to where you already built to say no, hurting every guys chances of getting your number. In other words, are chances low for a guy to succeed on some level because too many bad experiences made the idea of approaching girls, not ideal anymore and results in not even wanting to be asked out, in general? Or is it still okay to try? Would you rather be asked I'm person in public, or in your social media inbox? Neither?

If you do not mind being approached, obviously in an appropriate way what is the best way to do it?

I created this approach to test on the field:

Which is basically the following steps 1. Approaching someone out of their league 2. confessing attraction 3. Immediately admitting he knows his chances are slim to none 4. Explaining his goal: which is not exactly to acquire your phone number or Ig but to learn and cushion the rejection, the attempt was experimental, to gain experience, tips for future attempts with other women.
The guy who approaches believes if he could survive, gain experience, and be able say friends he legitimately asked the hottest girl out, the attempt would be a success just from the Knowledge and experience alone
5. Wait for response (saying all that shit before she can say no.) this approach was formally called " the Shoot yourself in the foot "

before answering, would this nullify the confidence level that women are drawn to? or would you respect his attempt in trying to approach women in kind fashion and wish him luck, is it weird to bein friend, non romantic
