We did our Debutant Ball together last month we didn't know each other at first because the teacher paired us but through the dance lessons and spending time together we got to know each other and I ended up having a crush on him but I didn't know till a few days before the Deb that he had a girlfriend when he told me I was disappointed but I would never do anything with someone else's guy and we didn't we where just friends but a little while after we had done or Deb he sent me a friend request and we started taking I found out a few days later from a mutual friend ours that he had broken up with his girlfriend and I think it was either the day that they had our only a few later that he sent me a friend request I also found out that his ex girlfriend didn't treat him the best sometimes and didn't really talk to him about his interests and that it was more about her and stuff she liked that they'd talk about but that's where is different with us we do like some of the same things and I am interested in talking to him about his interests like we have been sometimes it is hard to find things to talk about because we are both shy people who have anxiety him sever me mild but we both worry too much so that dosent help but I live a pretty boring life so neither does that. He did on his grandmothers suggestion take me to a Cafe for hot chocolate and we stayed there for a while and talked I don't really know if that was a date but I thought it went ok he shared some personal stuff with me and I some with him he said later on that he did have a good time but on our way back I thought he might try to at least hold my hand but he didn't. I asked him out not saying it was a date or anything just if he'd like to get a caramel slice since we both like them I think it might have went ok to but we haven't talked since and the last few days we haven't talked add much and he hasn't made any hint that he likes me i was thinking that it might be because of his last relationship or he.

I'm really confused about how I feel.
I'm 18, I've liked a handful of guys but only had real feelings for one in the past, but I think that was more infatuation than anything.

I met this guy right at the beginning of June and I've seen him everyday since then except once. We hang out with our mutual friends but sometimes its just us, we do all sorts of fun stuff and also just chill and watch movies. Lately, I spend most nights with him too.

At first I thought I just lusted after him cause he's very attractive and we messed around a little. But I miss him when I've only gone a few hours away from him. I have fun with him, just being around him makes me really happy.

I worry about him a lot and feel really protective over him. I like making him happy and taking care of him. At the same time I think he can be a brat and an ass, and I recognize all his faults (theres plenty..) but I can't stop loving him.

I've kissed 5-6 people, people I'm attracted to, but still he's the only person I enjoy kissing. His lips feel perfect. When I'm laying with him I feel safe and my anxiety goes away. I want to have sex with him and its not completely about sex itself. When he says I love you (all of us in our group say it to each other) or "I miss you" I feel giddy.

We fight often but get over it quickly. I wake up every morning with his arm around me and I feel like I could lay like that for hours.

I Just found myself crying because I know that when next semester starts up I won't see him very much. Going a day without seeing him sucks, going a whole week would be hell.

I don't want to like him. He told a friend he had feelings for me but he's on and off with a girlfriend. The whole situation is wrong, I know.
