A few days ago I started talking to this guy, he seems to have "everything" but somehow I'm not attracted to him?
- He's not unattractive, quite tall
- He's extremely rich (beyond words, i checked his insta >< He lives in a palace, owns crazy cars and flies in private jets)
- He's very respectful and nice loves kids
- He's a "good boy"
- And no he's not way older, he's 3 years older
- He studies in the US and is almost done with Uni and he's taking his father's business
And he comes from the city I was born in.

BUT I'M FRIEND-ZONING HIM although it's obvious he's not looking for a friendship lol

My friends and Mom think it's unhealthy to be like this and that nothing impresses me...
I'm I having false expectations from all the romance movies I watch :( ?
I'm almost 21 and never dated
Is there something wrong with me, I just want chemistry and a "Spark", I want to feel butterflies and excitement <3

I've had a crush on this guy, age 15, who we will call Canada, for a year now but we don't talk a lot. At school we had this thing where he would buy me a juice box and Doritos everyday during lunch and I'd pay him back the next day for the whole year. I (awkwardly) asked him for his number one day after school; which he gave to me. One day I tried talking to him after school but he had to catch the bus so it was another extremely awkward attempt at a conversation with him. Finally I asked him when his birthday was so I could Give him a present and then that sparked our first normal conversation. The school was selling carnations around that time too so I order one for him but he was absent the day they were passed out so he never got it.. I had also forgotten to but a note with the carnation so I stuck it on his locker a few days later saying "Happy Valintines Day! Sorry I forgot to put this with the carnation. Have a good day!" When I saw him reading it he had this utterly confused look on his face. Then I realized he never got the carnation. So on the last day of school I drew one for him and stuck it on his locker. We also talked that day. He was the last person I talked to at school that year. We've talked a bit since school ended and we aren't awkward around each other anymore. I just got back from Italy so I got him some gifts. I sent them to him and he texted me saying thanks and stuff but I haven't talked to him since. (It's only been 2 days though) He usually doesn't answer my texts unless I'm asking him something decently important or just down right idiotic but then we have pretty good conversation after. My friend, let's call Albainia, thinks I should ask him on a date but I don't know. (They are soccer friends) but I really don't know how or what to ask him to do (he likes soccer going to lakes and eating and lovesss chocolate). I also want to ask him to homecoming but that's aways away.
I just really don't know what to do with the whole Canada thing.

My cousin dated a girl last year for about 3-4 months. She said she was a virgin & then revealed she had a daughter who is nearly 5. He said she knew all about sex, wearing sexy underwear, how to do a good massage, etc. She would do things to make him jealous. He knew what she was doing but he let it go because her loved her. They even discussed marriage at one point. He was very hurt by the split & it took him at least 3 months to feel himself again. Soon after the split she claimed she was pregnant & posted a photo with her belly pushed out. He said she really disappointed him but he needed answers as to why she behaved like she did.

He later found out that she DMs rich men on Insta, had a lot of plastic surgery & basically is a tease/plaything for wealthy men. He still occasionally checks her Insta & FB. He was doing well for a good while but something sparked his emotions again around February - I think one of her friends posted something which triggered a memory. He has never said that he wants to get back with her but I am sure he would if she gave him the signs.

They have had no direct contact since they split last September but I found out that one of her friends created a fake Insta account & follows him & some of our family members. Why check up?

How can I help him through this or should I just leave him to work it out himself?
