Search Results: reading body language

(FYI same girl as in my first question please read) SO there is this girl at my job, (she is actually my manager, and has a sort of ex bf, or 9 years) and I can't seem to gauge how she feels about me. I am pretty apt at reading body language, but she sends me different signs, add to it I'm really into her so maybe I just want some of them to be good ones. But generally it goes like this at work. She will talk and laugh with other people, pretty much anyone but me, so it seems strange that she will willingly spend hours of time with me after work. She doesn't give off normal body signs of attraction, foot position, or passing me front to front. But when she does need me for something, or we are working in close quarters, she will get pretty close. Add to it I can tell she pourposely has been trying to use more vocabulary (as I do, and she did not) she used to bad mouth me to others (publicly in a joking manner) but has stopped. I have also caught her eye a few times, but she looks away sometimes quickly others not as fast. Also we were talking about her hair recently and the next day it was changed into the previous colors we were speaking of the day before. Also she has given her number out to almost everyone else I know she knows, but has never asked for mine or vice versa. Finally when we are alone together she will opens up rather willingly, and seems to want to carry conversation. Even when we aren't talking it doesn't feel like an awkward silence. Basically she seems really cold, when we are at work, when we are alone it seems sort of friendly and uncertain, so I don't know I keep pulling up maybes, no matter how much I analyse it, I just can't figure it out. I've kind of half assededly asked her out a few times, but I just can't get a good feel. So any opinons on your thoughts, for what it is, what I should do, or missing info for better help, would be very much appreciated.

Ok so I have this female friend who has really been a mystery to me from the start. We met 4-5 years ago and I developed a HUGE crush on her which lasted about a year. When I told her how I felt she friendzoned me. I went along with it and made a genuine effort to be her friend. I've noticed however that I seem to be doing all the work in the friendship. I initiate 70-90% of the conversations. I make most of the arrangements for us to hang out. She pretty much never calls me back, even when she says she will. Quite frankly, it seems like she isn't even interested in being my friend. When we talk she usually seems distracted/disinterested and doesn't contribute much to the conversation or give me much to work off of (to expand the conversation). I hardly ever seem to be the cause for her feeling any sort of positive emotions. Whenever I try to give her space it's like she doesn't even remember I exist. If I say something like "Am I bothering you?" or "I'm sorry to distract you, I'll talk to you later" she always gets upset and accuses me of being insecure. She says I'm not bothering her and that she has no problem talking with me, even though the vibes and body language I'm reading say otherwise. Granted I'm bad at reading people but I'm not completely ignorant. I'm considering straight up telling her I'm sick of whatever this (our relationship) is and that I'm done and don't want to be friends anymore. But then I think I might be overreacting. What do you guys think she's feeling?
