I was reading this article about a couple who adopted from Russia who ended up almost giving their adopted son back. He was orphaned from a mother who did drugs while he was in the womb. When he came to the states, he failed to bond with his new family, he constantly fought with the couples biological children, he tried to harm the family pet, and literally set up a booby trap with needles in the carpet to try to harm his new mom. The family tried all manner of counseling before they started to run out of money, they went to several doctors, and before they could actually turn him back over to the adoption agency, he was taken into juvenile custody for bringing a gun to school. Do you think that in extreme cases like this, a family should be able to give back an adopted child?

This is by no means a racist question. I have not witnessed this before so I want to know what you think

I always preferred to have all my children before the age of 30. Ideally I would’ve started at age 23/24 but that didn't happen. Im hoping to have 2-3 kids before the age of 30. No later than 31 unless I of course adopt... but that would preferably be by time my first child goes off to college #FeelFreeToList #SaveTheDate

Conceiving your own children is probably preferable - the bonding can start at conception and from that time you share family history and relatives, they will inherit some of the looks and talents of their parents, which is nice … but also they may not.

Adopting a child can be the same but different. They inherit nothing physically but it’s amazing what they can pick up from you - habits, mannerisms, tastes etc.
　　　Whichever way you choose to make your family you have the opportunity to have a positive and productive influence on a child. Living with you will influence the way they handle their own family and children one day. Your encouragement and support will guide them into their life’s work and interests?
