Im not really sure what to get him.. Im never really good at picking presents. We have been together 8 months so yes I do know some of his likes. he's turning 27.
he's into:
- fitness (goes to gym regularly)
- games (e. g. world of warcraft)
- chocolates or any food with hazelnut😂😂
- electronics

Im thinking of getting him this well known protein powder that he has been wanting to get. It is pretty expensive for it but i dont mind. And a card.
But i think this is too simple or strange. My budget would be $100 since im quite broke atm.
so guys help me out. I dont know if its a good idea or not. What do u think of it? or any other suggestions?

i have no idea what to give my boyfriend for his birthday
so i thought I'd use my talent : i can paint/draw well
will painting smth on a canvas a good idea? like maybe the background/theme of his fav vid game and somehow draw him 'in' the game, like a character inside (?) will guys like it?
or some better idea to what i should paint?
or is just some other gift instead cos maybe guys don't like paintings?

First of all, me and my boyfriend have been together over 7 months and so far, the relationship is good despite arguing here and there few times. However, he does treat me right, he's there for me whenever I need him, and shows a lot of efforts and affection in our relationship. We have shown each other that we are serious about our relationship.
So anyway, a week ago I told him about how my whole family (parents, brothers, aunts, uncles, cousins and their partners) are going to celebrate my grandmas 80th birthday this weekend and that my dad told me I could bring him along (Ive never introduced him or any of my exes to my parents). I told him "to be honest, I dont think its a good idea for you to meet them yet" and my boyfriend said "yeah true.. I dont feel comfortable yet too. I want to get a second job and move out to my own place first so I can feel more secure and can tell your parents comfortably about my situation"
And then he told me that he told his friends at work yesterday (mostly his boys) about this (how my dad wanted him to come along) and this is how he told me their conversations went:
Him: my gfs dad wants me to come to her grandmas bday
His boys: then? go!!
Him: my girlfriend said no though
His boys: wtf? why? is she even serious with you?
Him: yeh she is. and anyway i dont feel comfortable yet anyway. i need to be more secure before meeting her parents
His boys: so? just go.
What do you think of our situation? Why would he tell his friends about it? I mean he said he doesn't feel comfortable yet so why tell his friends? and why tell them I said no?
