There was this guy that I used to date during my university years 3 years ago
He has been contacting me once a month but only friendly chats
Until few nights ago, we had a nostalgic conversation
Last night I went over to my boyfriend's place (we have been together for 2 years) and told him about the guy and the conversation because I wanted to be honest with him:

Me - babe I need to tell u something
Him - yeah what is it?
Me - remember the guy that I used to date at university?
Him - yeah what about him?
Me - he contacted me few nights ago. You wanna see the messages?
Him - nah I dont need to see the messages. Just tell me. What did he say?
Me - ok well he asked me questions like "what did u hate about dating me?" And "did u want to be official when we were dating back then?"
Him - wtf? Yeah he wants to date you obviously. And maybe coz you dont have pictures of us anymore on your facebook
Me - well we broke up before so i took them off
Him - Did u tell him you have a boyfriend?
Me - yeah i did
Him - okay good.
Me - you're so chilled about this
Him - nah its because I trust you with these things.. I trust that you can handle it yourself

Me and my ex boyfriend broke up 4 months ago
We still remained friends - we still keep in contact several times every week and hang out every week
he's the one that broke it off because we argued too much and I still have trust issues from my past relationship.
And also he wanted to pursue his dream career and wanted to focus on that more
But yesterday, we went out for lunch and he found out that I have been seeing another guy because he saw my hickey
He was upset about it
He told me that he's hurt that i was seeing another guy and that he really loved me
He said he never went out and made out with another girl after we broke up and still wanted us to work out
He returned all my things when i came over
And he told me that we will not see each other again and won't message me anymore after this and dont want me to contact him again
He told me he's happy that i found someone
And then when he dropped me home, he sent me a long goodbye message and he just blocked me on everything
I still love him though 😔😔

I understand I hurt him but its not like im cheating
But i do feel like a douche right now because of it
And i was never serious with the guy i was seeing anyway

If a guy truly loved me, he would come back right?
