An undercut refers to when a portion of the hair is shaved, and is usually a buzz cut. Most commonly it is done in the nape area, or where the neck meets the hairline.

I've noticed a lot of girls at my school getting it done and I've always wondered why. I personally wouldn't cut my hair off willingly, but you know people have free will and can do what they want with their hair.
Men get this done too and I think it looks good but I am specifically referring to women in thjs question. Do you think this looks good? And girls, would you ever style your hair this way?

She's kinda punk so it could just be her style, but

A couple yeas ago (age 20) she had cut boy hair, like super butch short. Now it is a super short bob with bangs.
She dresses in manly like clothes (black pants, sometimes tights with a short skirt, but for tops, I see button down collared shirts 80% of the time, plaid short coats or jackets).
She openly has pics of her smoking cigs.
She has a TON of guy friends, who she calls "the boys"
Her girl friends seem butch too, or just odd.
She has a couple photo sets of her dressed as a man, fake facial hair and clothing, saying one was for Halloween, and she legit looked like a man and she wrote #androgeny.
Umm I see seriously no romantic stuff at all on her fb.
She doesn't shave either, like some pics have unshaved armpit hair and leg hair that's long.

Recently I've fallen in love with shoulder length hair, i have very thick hair, and its so hot having long hair in Australia. I have a round cutesy looking face, nice skin almost like Asian skin (very white eastern european skin) and slim hourglass figure, very feminine look, a lot of guys consider me attractive but would this change if i cut my hair? I really love rita ora's hair and wanted a style like that. here some examples;
