I have 5 grand in my account right now. A few months ago my Dads girlfriend said that I could have her car for 3 grand but then changed it to 5 grand (all I have in my bank account) a few days ago. She needs my money for a down payment she would be making for her future car.

Her car is a 2008 Honda (idk what type) and she payed about 17-22 grand for it. It should have about 10 years left on it. I think there is about 90,000-109,000 miles.

Should I buy my dads girlfriends car or should I save up to buy a different used car?

I’m supposed to be leaving to go to Washington DC tomorrow with my two daughters for my nursing school graduation. (I’ve been in school for almost 5 years and I’m going for my masters). My husband is unable to go due to work. My relatives aren’t able to go due to past drama with my daughters. And I don’t really have any friends. I live in Los Angeles so our flight leaves at 8:15am. The flight was expensive and non refundable. The hotel is booked from Wednesday- Saturday. If I don’t go I’m still paying the cost of one nights stay which is $350. My daughters are 17 and 19 years old. They both sit around my house all the time (no friends, got fired from jobs due to conflict with others, not in school). They are both super mouthy and super moody. The 17 year old is known to back out of things last minute and then say she wants to go. They yell and swear at everyone all the time. They liked DC last year when we went. I thought I would be nice and take them out and buy them outfits to wear to my graduation and they literally were giving me attitude, pacing around, sighing, and just acting like a bunch of ungrateful assholes. They both walked out to the car and started arguing with each other and swearing at me the car ride home. Came in the house and went upstairs and both have been in their rooms for hours. Nobody is packed. Neither of them have clean clothes to pack, they didn’t do their laundry today. I don’t really wanna go and put up with their attitudes, I actually think both of them are PMSing, and the 19 year old has PMDD that she refuses to take her pills for. I bought the expensive cap and gown, plane tickets for all 3 of us, and the hotel and it was all very expensive and they just don’t care. I don’t know what to do. I will be eating money either way I go. I bet they wouldn’t even show up to my graduation on Thursday since it’s at 8am. It’s just a shame they can’t even be civil and nice to me for 3 days.
