1. Dustin goes into a restaurant to get something to eat. He can't afford the meal. Johnny steps in and pays for it. Johnny and Dustin find a table to eat together, they talk for a bit and once Johnny discovers that Dustin is homeless, allows Dustin to live with him.
2. Dustin really needs to use the toilet. He goes into a restaurant broke and begs to use the bathroom. The workers inside say no because Dustin needs to pay something first. Johnny steps in and argues with the workers until they allow him to go. Dustin and Johnny go outside, talk then Johnny decides to allow Dustin to live with him.
3. Dustin falls asleep in public. Two dudes walk over him and fight with him. Johnny steps in and pulls out a knife telling the boys to leave Dustin alone, the kids leave. Dustin starts crying. Johnny allows Dustin to stay with him for the night.
