I'm gonna try and keep this short.
I've been good friends with this guy for a few years. He's just a few years older. He's very very friendly and charming without realizing it, and has a lot of friends who are girls. He's a very deep thinker and we've had lots of meaningful conversations.

He's one big mixed signal. I catch him looking at me sometimes. If we're sitting next to each other he always leans toward me, like puts his elbow down right next to me and lays his head on his hand. We hug sometimes, if he's greeting me or saying goodbye. Sometimes we'll be playing around and he'll pick me up. We've also wrestled (I'm pretty rough) and (after I very literally kicked his butt from one end of the room to the other) he pinned me down (as in full on body to body contact) and held me for kind of a long time.

The thing that makes him a mixed signal is that like I said he's super friendly so he does hug and play around with other girls. So it's hard to tell if his treatment of me is anything special or just him being him.

So what do you think?

We will call him Bob. I'll start by saying we forcefully have to be together for math club. After club meetings we usually talk for a while, somewhere along the line I begun liking him. One day Bob asked me if I liked him, and I said yes, he said he liked me too. For a month we were talking as a couple, and doing couple things (ei: hug, hang out, walk with his arm around me etc.) His mom even knows my name, and says hi to me, I know he talks or has talked to her about me. Then out of no where he tells me that we can't be in a relationship, because he realized he never really liked me, he was just "pressured" into it when I never forced him too and he was the one that wanted to start the "thing". Then at math club Bob didn't even talk to me as if he was more heart broken than I. Today at a math competition Bob then kept on standing close to me as if he wanted to hold my hand, and I just put them in my pockets. Since I was the only girl, naturally I was talking to guys, specifically Tom. Tom and I were laughing, and Bob kept on interrupting our conversation "in the name of math". He made me feel bad about relationships, and then he doesn't let me talk to other guys. I kept on talking to Tom, because Fuck Bob. Tom and I were talking loud then he asked me if I liked anyone. I said no one, and then Bob gave me a sad look as if he was expecting me to say him or something when he was the one that ended our "thing". going home was dark I was going to take the bus. Bob said he felt bad because he didn't like the idea of me being out there in the dark alone because things happen, as if he cared about me. Bob's mom offered me a ride, I said no, I mean how awkward is that. Tom's dad offered to take me home and I said yes because Tom lives close to me. Bob acted offended. Like he doesn't want me to move on, but he doesn't want anything with me, but he cares, and I'm just like why Bob! Bob just pisses me off and I don't know what to do anymore. Does Bob like me?
