I might be in the minority here, but I don't see "reproduction" as a right.

Sorry, not sorry, I've just known too many people who grew up with parents who didn't know what they were doing/didn't want kids. I know too many abuse victims and kids born drug-addicted. Childhood loneliness, depression and stress are all going up and schools STILL don't have proper funding/distribution.

All of that aside, whenever you ask ANYONE if they're a good parent they will say "yes". 9 times out of 10 ignorant people think they're going "fine" while their children live in constant distress. People, especially Americans, tend to think that children only require clothes, food and getting to school on time. They don't realise/care that children are people, equal in value to their parents but brimming with potential.
Children have emotional needs. Children need to be nurtured in a way not everyone has the capacity to provide.

It disgusts me when I hear women talking about having children as if it's nothing. They talk about making a new person, a human being, condemned to live and suffer and die well after them, all because they "wanted a baby". It's an absolutely selfish stance to take, especially when you can't provide what that child needs.

No one asks to be born, but once you're here you're here. The best we can do for anyone born into this hellscape of a reality is try to mitigate the suffering they'll inevitably encounter through education, nurturing and providing a healthy lifestyle.
And that's not something most parents care to think about.

If you had your way, who would be allowed to have children?

If he was made, then he would classify as a psychopathic sociopath. Do you think he was born like that or made?

Things that caught my attention of his background:
- His abusive grandfather was his father, whom raped his own daughter (Ted's mom).
- He was made to believe his mother was his sister. She told him the truth when he was an adult.
- He had speech issues in his early years, more than likely due to the father's abuse.
- Was bullied at school and turned into a bully himself, causing terror to other kids
- His first victim was said to be a cat. As a child he lit it on fire and watched it die in agony, no empathy whatsoever,

It's said he explained to his then girlfriend about having an uncontrollable impulse/urge (if he didn't kill then he would stalk women) that doesn't let him concentrate on his law school research nor do other things he would have wanted.

It is just as painful and traumatizing in many cases. If the victim can prove they have been abused should the attacker be held responsible under the law? I am not talking about just trusting a claim that has no evidence to back it up. But someone could have recorded phone calls, screenshots and witnesses.
