Search Results: act like jerks

We all have masks that we put up depending on our situation, and who we are around. It's Human Nature.
For instance, when around certain family that we aren't as open with, we generally have a mask on to conceal much about us. Which is why often times, some of our family doesn't know anything about us, and vice versa.
When around friends, we have a Mask. Wether it's to hide feelings, keep emotions withheld, one just because we feel insecure.. We have a Mask on.

When we have these Masks on, we act differently. You could be talking to a close friend, and someone else walks in the room, you instantly put your Mask on, and change your behavior accordingly. Even if that means you're dissing your friend, or being a jerk at times. Granted sometimes Masks are subtle. It depends on who, when, and where.

The people we want to be around, are the people who help take off our Masks. The ones who can see through it. And make us remember that we don't need a Mask to cover up anything. Surround yourself with these kind of people.
