We all have different ways of communicating with our partner. Some text, whereas others call for hours. We do a certain percentage of this and that in different stages of our relationship.

In the beginning, you'll be texting.
Then tonnes of calls.
Then both calls and texts.

After a month or two into your relationship, the calls and texts are more or less. And as we go on, things might just seem boring or like a routine, with the same old texts and questions, and rarely Calling each other.

How do you guys communicate with your partner?

We argue and fight a lot. More bad days than good days. The primary causes of the arguments are her being not picky about what I say. she's easily offended. she's stubborn. She is very bad at handling stress. Sometimes stress causes her to just complain and become negative and take it out on me. Always Comparing how I act with my family versus how I act with hers.

Ifeel like I got into the relationship too quickly. I proposed after 5 months. Now I realize my personality is humorous while hers is kind of boring.

She spends most of the time studying. I dont mind studying obviously, but it feels like she prioritized studying over our relationship and over some of her duties as a wife

First of all, I'm not much of a talker. And she ain't either. We both understood that when we started the relationship and was comfortable with it.
But after 3 months into our relationship, the lockdown started and then we had to stick to texting and rare video calls.


I used to find topics to talk about, but now, even I'm having a hard time making a conversation with her. And now, i feel kike she's bored too. Coz she was the one that always used to text and video call me first.
But now, she texts and dissapears, then comes back at midnight and then we talk non continuosly till 2am or something.
I even noticed that there isn't video calling anymore. Especially no I love you or i miss you.
I understand that she's not that kinda girl, but the thing is, she used to say all those things, and now when she suddenly stopped saying it, I don't know... Feel so sad thinking bout it. I talked to her bout it and she said it's nothing like you think. Just coz i don't say those things, doesn't mean I don't love you and all.
But for some reason, it's a bit hard. And I can't make her say those words or anything.

We have fights here and there, coz we are both short tempered and things explode. Is that why things are dull? Is she keeping a safe distance from me and not talking much, so that she can get back to normal?

Is this normal in a relationship?
What have you guys done to tackle such instances?
