I laugh and joke around a lot. I know how to have serious conversations, but usually when I'm with friends I'm being a goofball. With people I'm not comfortable with I seem very mature because I'm much more reserved. But with my peers I feel free to be loud and silly. However certain remarks my guy friends have made make me feel like they just see me as a silly little girl. Does that mean they probably don't see me as dateable? Am I putting myself in the friendzone?

They have suffered from PTSD, depression after getting assaulted in their home and watching their best friend be assaulted and killed. So they locked themselves up in a room for 10 years and didn't come out until now after they finally found medication that works for them. They haven't dated or had much human contact of any kind in a decade. Is this person dateable?

Also, what if they don't want to talk about the event that happened, and you don't know why they isolated themselves from the world for 10 years. Would that make a difference? Would you need to know up front or could you accept their need to keep something private until they can trust you better? Would you think they were just a loser or a bum?

He texts everyday.
Weve been texting for one month.
we hung out recently.
He says I'm fun and we are very similar.
We continue to text everyday.
He hasn't asked about seeing each other again.
So I ask him to come eat with me.
he says sure and I can pick because I'm good at it.
im confused because I'm doing tthe initiating but he intiates the texting...
during the hangout he referred to me as a friend.
I don't know if I should ask if he sees me as dateable?
I've started to back away from texting by ending conversations and not texting as much.
I don't want to play games and I would rather have an answer... should I confront? If so what do I say?
